Schoel prepared the construction documents for the Soho project in downtown Homewood, a mixed use facility including restaurants, retail, residential, and the City of Homewood Municipal center on a 5+ acre site in Downtown Homewood, Alabama. This development has three large buildings, structured and surface parking as well as on-street parking. The redevelopment provided all the challenges associated with working in a developed downtown area including coordination with adjacent businesses and roads, utilizing and relocating existing infrastructure, and combining multiple parcels of land into parcels usable for the project.
