On November 1, 2024, the University of Alabama at Birmingham Health System Authority assumed ownership of Ascension St. Vincet’s Health System to sustain patients’ access to the highest-quality care in the metro area. Ascension St. Vincet’s Hospitals in Birmingham and surrounding area campuses were among the sites included in the acquisition. During the due diligence phase, Schoel was contacted to perform twenty ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys on the various campus properties. The Schoel team worked diligently with UAB, St. Vincent’s, and a large group of attorneys and title companies to complete the surveys in a compressed timeframe. This project highlights Schoel’s responsiveness and staff capabilities to assist our clients when large projects cannot fail.
