Project Description
The Blendstar Birmingham Terminal Facility project included the design, permitting, and construction of a renewable fuels terminal facility located in Birmingham, Alabama, between Village Creek and the East Thomas Railyards. As part of this project a new rail line was constructed to provide access to the new facility and tie in to the existing BNSF Railway. The facility accommodates offloading of ethanol from railcar to onsite storage tanks and from the storage tanks to truck for transport to final destination.
