Regions Field is the new 8,500 seat facility of the Birmingham Barons Baseball Club. The facility is the crown jewel of Birmingham’s recently developed Parkside District. Regions Field was constructed on a four Block area adjacent to Railroad Park. Extensive utilities (power, water, gas, fiber optic, sanitary sewer, etc.) had to be relocated to facilitate construction. Schoel provided the Civil Engineering and Surveying services since the inception of the project, including the site work design, topographic, boundary, and subdivision surveying services, and coordination for various approvals for the development.
